A route through some of DC's most iconic neighborhoods, with a ride between rooms wherever the walk is too far. The secret itinerary is revealed to guests on the day of the event.
Small enough to feel like a dinner party, not a tour group.
Guided tastings and pours at each stop - unpretentious wine insights, and an environment built for getting to know a neighborhood, and some neighbors, a little better.

I went in expecting it to be like every other DC networking event, I came out of it with people I genuinely see becoming close friends with. It was perfectly planned, paced, and executed. I made the foundest of memories and wouldn't trade it for the world!

Penn Quarter to Shaw, driven door to door, on a Tuesday. Three rooms, twelve wines, and six of them poured with no label and no idea what was in the glass.

Three courses to start, with pours chosen to stand up to the spice rather than hide from it. The kitchen built the menu for this table specifically, and took the dietary notes as a brief rather than a nuisance.
Sixty minutes, six wines, no food, and no labels. The names were held back until the last glass was poured, so the room could taste first and check itself after. Nobody at the table had to perform expertise they did not have, which is the entire argument for pouring blind.
A vegetable-forward finale, three courses with pairings chosen alongside the kitchen for this table. The last pour of the night was picked to answer the first one.
Nobody knew where they were going until the day of, which is the whole point.
The Founding Twenty
The first twenty guests - every guest across the two September evenings - become Founding Members of the Grown Up Bar Crawl.

This one is a wine-only evening: no food pairings, just the pours. Tickets are $50 plus tax and gratuity, and Founding Members take 10% off the ticket.
